Depending on the needs of the installation, INGELYT is able to offer different types of ceilings. There are two main categories.NON ACCESSIBLE CEILINGS
- Modular: Ceilings with visible profiles, normally used for areas with suspended ceilings of low height, so that they have to be registered from the inside of the room. (A)
- Continuous: ceilings with concealed profiles, aimed at reducing number of joints and avoiding visible profiling in areas of low suspended-ceiling height. Access to these ceilings is generally limited, particularly in the absence of auxiliary access structures or specific removable access points. (B)
ACCESSIBLE CEILINGS
- Modular: Ceilings with visible profiles for use in areas where suspended-ceiling height allows for walkable access and in which access is possible from within. (C)
- Continuous: Ceilings with concealed profiles, specially designed for rooms with enough space in the suspended ceiling in order to make it accessible. These types of ceilings allow carrying out the maintenance of the installations nearly without any interference to the production areas. (D)
Depending on the type of ceiling selected and the needs of the installation, the finishes and thicknesses used are variables. The most common finish is made by skins of steel sheet, with variable core (polyurethane, polystyrene, rock wool …), and in not very demanding areas pladur plate with vinyl finishing.
All fittings between the panels and the different elements, lightning, filters, etc., are perfectly sealed and leak tight with fungicide silicone.
